The box is nice. Got it for my 1 yr. old's birthday. Liked that there was no lid and that it would match his furniture. There are a couple of nicks, but nothing major. Pretty good quality for being a do-it-yourself piece of furniture. Everything assembled easily with no problems.

I was not happy with this toy chest it had a BIG chip in the wood and you could see were the paint ran down. I though about sending back but it would be to much of a pain so I kept it and just put in the closet.

This toy box was very easy to put together. The only problem I had was that 2 of the tightening bolts broke. They need to put a few extra of the bolts just in case there is that problem, trying to get the replacement is a bit challenging and it could be avoided with extras in the kit. The toy box is really nice, looks great and I will probably be buying another. Very sturdy and I don't worry a bit about kids crawling in and out of it, it's sturdy and can handle it!

I was looking for a toy box that not only served it's purpose, but also one that would look good in the living room. I wanted it to look like a piece of furniture instead of a cutesie little toy box. I went with this one because I liked that it had no lid (to squish fingers and close on heads, which happened with my nephew). When I received it, I was very pleased. The finish is even prettier in person than in the picture. It was fairly easy to assemble (for my husband), I however got all confused and frustrated. Once he showed me one bolt, I was making it way harder. But it just came with a black and white picture diagram with no words. That's the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five. Once it was put together, it looks great and is sturdy. My son pulls up on it and climbs on it and even before it was weighed down with toys it held up.
