Q1: What assembly is required on this chest and does the interior cedar go on all sides?

A: Assembly for this chest is very easy and should take the average person 1/2 hour. Attach the front, back, and sides to base with camlocks and then match up the lid's piano hinges to the pre drilled holes on the back of the chest and screw in. The interior is lined with cedar on all 4 sides and the bottom.
